Travel Information

Airlines

There are a number of discount airlines providing flights to Australia, including AirAsia, Jetstar, and Scoot. We suggest using a flight finder tool such as SkyScanner to find the cheapest route to Brisbane. All delegates are responsible for arranging their own travel plans to attend the Conference.

Train

Airtrain services run frequently from Brisbane Airport to the centre of Brisbane and the express, air-conditioned journey takes only 20 minutes. The airport stations are located directly outside the Domestic and International terminals and connect with 5 stations covering 80% of downtown Brisbane. We are pleased to offer all conference delegates a discount code for travel until 12th December 2017. Please use promocode SHMII2017 when purchasing tickets at airtrain.com.au to access $15.30 one way and $25 return tickets.

Brisbane’s international and domestic airports are approximately 20km north east of the Central Business District (CBD), a 15 to 20 minute drive. Visitors can reach the central business district by taxi, shuttle bus or train.
